The calibration feature is designed for resetting the internal parameters of the scanner. However, it is not recommended to calibrate a brand-new scanner. Normally, the scanners do not need to be calibrated after leaving the factory.
When should I calibrate my scanner?
We recommend calibrating in these situations:
- If the 3D model's surface looks very rough or grainy. Click Video and check the rough and grainy model surface.
- If markers can't be recognized in Marker Mode. Click Video and check how Marker Mode works normally.
- If you want to achieve the best possible accuracy.
