Desktop Tower Windows:
Plug the MIRACO into the Tower's back port or top port instead of the front port via the white long USB C cable.
Turn on and turn off MIRACO to detect it on the PC, you should see it pop up at the bottom right corner.
macOS or iMac:
If you have installed and are running Google Drive, Dropbox apps..., it may interfere with the detection of the MIRACO device and the pop-up window for file transfers within Revo Scan. There is a contention issue on the Mac where these applications may conflict with one another—if one gains control, it can cause problems for the others.
Step 1, quit Google Drive, Dropbox, Preview app on macOS Ventura, SmartSwitch, Garmin Express, and OneDrive.
Step 2, remove those apps from the list of Users & Groups by following so that they do not automatically open at startup:
1) Click on the Apple menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
2) Select "System Preferences" from the drop-down menu.
3) Click on "Users & Groups."
4) Select your user account from the list on the left-hand side.
5) Click on the "Login Items" tab.
You will see a list of applications that are set to open automatically when you log in. Select Dropbox, Google Drive, or any other application you want to stop from automatically opening.
Click the "-" icon below the list to remove the selected application from the list of Login Items.
Step 3, restart Revo Scan and MIRACO and stay at the Revo Scan's homepage.
Once MIRACO restarted, plug it into your macOS or iMac via the long white USB C cable.
If you do not have the listed apps installed, please try closing the other apps in the 'Activity Monitor' and see if the transfer window pops up.
