Installation and Tutorials
After installing Revo Mirror on both your macOS device and your phone, open the app on your Mac. You will see a pop-up window saying:
“Sunshine” would like to record this computer’s screen and audio. Grant access to this application in Privacy & Security settings, located in System Settings.
Click “Open System Settings”, then enable Sunshine under Screen & System Audio Recording in Privacy & Security settings.
Next, another pop-up window for Accessibility permissions will appear. Please enable Sunshine there as well.
After that, you may see two additional pop-up windows. Click “Allow” for both of them.
Once these permissions are enabled, Revo Mirror should launch normally on your macOS device.
Next, make sure your Mac and phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Then open Revo Mirror on your phone. You should see your Mac’s device name and a PIN code displayed.
Enter the PIN code into the Revo Mirror on your Mac and wait for the pairing to complete successfully. After that, everything should be ready to use.
If you accidentally remove the host device from the Casting Device list on your phone, or if you cannot find it, scroll down the list and click the “+” button. Then enter the device name (for example, N*****92.local) and click “Confirm.” The device will be added automatically, and you can start the pairing process again.
Troubleshooting: Revo Mirror Doesn't Load Properly
If Revo Mirror doesn't load properly, follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
1. Check your macOS version
Check your macOS version and confirm whether you are using macOS Tahoe.
2. Reinstall the Revo Mirror Tahoe version
Completely uninstall Revo Mirror from your Applications folder and delete any remaining Revo Mirror installation packages.
Then, download the Revo Mirror Tahoe version again from: https://www.revopoint3d.com/pages/support-download
3. Enable Screen Recording permissions
Install the Revo Mirror Tahoe package.
When launching Revo Mirror, you should see a Screen & System Audio Recording permission prompt. Click Open System Settings, then find both Sunshine and Revo Mirror in the list and enable both.
If Sunshine or Revo Mirror doesn't appear in the list, click the + button and enter your macOS password to add them manually.
When you see any additional permission prompts, allow all requested permissions.
4. Enable Accessibility permissions
Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility.
Find Revo Mirror and Sunshine, and make sure both are enabled.
