1. Multi-line Laser scan (including Cross lines & Parallel lines)
⚠️Note: Shiny/black/metal surfaces don't require scanning spray. Markers are needed, only "Marker Scan" is available.
Check how to use markers at Marker using tips
1) Cross Lines
2) Parallel Lines
2. Full-field Structured light scan (including Full Field & Auto Turntable)
⚠️Note: Shiny/black/metal surfaces require scanning spray. Markers are not necessary unless you select "Marker Scan". Both "Feature Scan" and "Marker Scan" are available.
1) Full Field
The scanner uses micro-structured blue light to rapidly generate point cloud models of common objects. Geometrically intricate objects can be scanned without markers, while objects lacking distinct features require markers.
2) Auto Turntable
Set up the scanner on a tripod overlooking the turntable. Place an object on the Dual-axis Turntable. Use the one-click capture mode to generate the metrology-grade, detailed, color-accurate 3D model.
3. Single Shot
Available when you select Full Field Scan Mode.
Aim the scanner at the object and tap the [Start] button every time you want to capture a frame. Ensure there's at least 50% overlap between adjacent frames and stay still when capturing frames to avoid errors. Use this mode to capture more details and clearer textures.
Let's take RANGE2's scan as a reference.
