The scanner doesn't connect to the computer or phone. The Depth Camera doesn't have any images; the RGB Camera doesn't have any images; the Preview window doesn't have any images...
If you encounter any problems connecting the scanner, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Check if the cable is used correctly. In the package, the 2-meter-long USB cable is for COMPUTER use only. Do not use it for your phone; you need a two-in-one(2-in-1) short cable for a phone connection.
⚠️POP and INSPIRE do not include a two-in-one(2-in-1) cable. If you need one, please purchase it from the official Revopoint store.
Step 2: After powering on the scanner, observe if the indicator light on the back of the scanner turns green. A constant blue, red, or no color change before green on the indicator light, all indicate a malfunction.
Step 3: Try plugging into different ports(USB 3.0 or higher) or using different data cables to eliminate port aging and cable short circuit issues.
- What to do if the scanner cannot connect to the computer (using Windows as an example):
After connecting the scanner, right-click on the Windows icon at the bottom left corner, open "Device Manager," and expand "Cameras." Under normal circumstances, you should see the SN codes of the RGB camera and Depth camera. If you cannot find the Cameras here, it means the scanner is not correctly recognized as a camera by the computer. Unplug and replug the cable several times to check if it works. Pay attention to whether other components have a yellow exclamation mark icon ⚠️ (Unknown device) or are recognized as "Rockusb Device", then contact customer@revopoint3d.com for further guidance.
If the SN codes can be recognized, right-click on the Windows icon at the bottom left corner, open "Settings," navigate to "Privacy & Security," find "Firewall," and allow Revo Scan to be used. Alternatively, in the "Settings" - "Privacy & Security" interface, locate "Camera," enable "Computer access to the camera," and permit Revo Scan to access the camera.

- What to do if the scanner cannot connect to the mobile phone
For Android devices, when using a wired connection [using the two-in-one(2-in-1) cable], you may encounter a situation where the authorization prompt does not appear. In this case, try re-plugging the scanner and the Type-C port to resolve the issue.
For iOS devices, you may encounter situations where the scanner's Wi-Fi cannot be detected. In this case, connect the scanner to the computer using the 2-meter-long cable, open Revo Scan, click on the "Settings" button, and check if the scanner's Wi-Fi and password have been changed to a different name.
(ios) Why does the scanner not connect to Revo Scan on my iPhone?
During Wi-Fi connection, you may also encounter a situation where the scanner's Wi-Fi appears to be successfully connected, but Revo Scan shows it as not connected. In such cases, check if another computer or mobile phone has already connected to the scanner, occupying the local connection slot. You can try restarting your device, restarting the scanner, and then reconnecting.
